Poem is a piece I made for the exhibition Book at the Columbus College of Art and Design. Playing on both magnetic poetry and found poetry, the words for Poem were taken from lines of verse found in the book The House at Pooh Corner.

Each word is printed on a car magnet, and then installed in the gallery. Viewers are invited to remove magnets from the gallery, with the intention of placing them on their car. This allows the words to travel, thus generating new compositions from preexisting poems.
